Crescent Ballroom
The Crescent Ballroom, located in downtown Phoenix, Arizona, is a popular music venue and lounge that also houses Cocina 10, a scratch kitchen serving Sonoran and Arizona cooking. The venue was founded by Charlie Levy in 2011, with the name being a nod to Levy's upbringing in New Orleans, also known as the "Crescent City". The venue is housed in a renovated warehouse, featuring hardwood floors, exposed brick, and vaulted ceilings, which add to its unique character.
Over the years, the Crescent Ballroom has played a significant role in Phoenix's music scene, hosting a variety of concerts and events. It has been a platform for both acclaimed national touring artists and local up-and-coming bands. Some of the bands that have performed at the venue include Slaughter Beach, Dog / Sun June, The Brother Brothers, and Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers.
