The Doug Fir Lounge, located in Portland, Oregon, is a renowned music venue that has been a staple in the city's music scene since its establishment in 2004. The venue was originally housed in a building that had seen various uses since the 1950s, including a Chinese restaurant, before being transformed into the Doug Fir Lounge. The venue is known for its distinct design and broad spectrum of bookings, making it a key part of the Portland music experience.

The Doug Fir Lounge has a reputation for its state-of-the-art acoustics, making it one of the best sounding rooms in the city. This, along with its intimate setting, has made it a favorite among both artists and concertgoers. The venue holds at least 25 concerts a month, serving as a platform for new talent and an intimate space for established artists. Some of the notable artists that have performed at the venue include The Shins, Cake, and MGMT.

In addition to its music offerings, the Doug Fir Lounge also features a restaurant and bar, offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night food. The venue has been recognized as one of the Top 40 music venues in America by Paste Magazine.

In 2023, after 19 years at its original location on East Burnside Street, the Doug Fir Lounge announced plans to relocate to 301 SE Morrison Street, with hopes to open the new location in early 2024. The new location is expected to feature enhanced amenities, including expanded dressing rooms, an intimate private bar, and patio. Despite the move, the venue will continue to be booked by Monqui Presents, the same group that brings shows to the Wonder Ballroom, Grand Lodge, and Edgefield.
