Gold-Diggers, located in East Hollywood, Los Angeles, is a unique blend of a boutique hotel, bar, and recording studio. Originally built as an "inn above a tavern" in 1924 on the famous Route 66, the building later became a dive bar with a rehearsal studio in the back that welcomed punk bands. The current owner, Dave Neupert, discovered the history of the Gold-Diggers Entertainment building and decided to transform it into a music-themed bar and boutique hotel.

The venue has evolved into a space that is equal parts perfectly tuned bar, venue, boutique hotel, and recording studio. It has been described as a "rock and roll palace" with "just the right amount of sleaze", embracing its seedy glamour, disco-ball chandeliers, and storied past. The Gold-Diggers project is an architectural labor of love, preserved with an eye towards its unique history, but also providing the amenities associated with a top-flight studio and luxury hotel.

Gold-Diggers has hosted a variety of musicians such as Iceage, Mary Lattimore, Julianna Barwick, and Luna. The venue is known for its ever-evolving lineup of fresh talent, programmed by music heads for music heads. It offers state of the art sound design and showcase-quality performances for an intimate audience.

The venue's unique combination of a bar, hotel, and recording studio allows artists to stay at the hotel for a few weeks, roll out of bed and into the studio, and even do a live show at the 150-capacity club if the mood takes them. This unique setup provides a home away from home for artists, producers, and music lovers.
