From local bluegrass to big-name DJs, Higher Ground is THE spot in Burlington to catch some sweet live music. Located in the remains of an old movie theater (!!), HG features two complete separate stages – the Ballroom and the Showcase Lounge, allowing them to showcase two acts a night.

- Higher Ground primarily books national bands or local bands that have a strong following. If you want to get started in Burlington, we suggest Nectar’s and Club Metronome as two great venues for developing bands.
- Opening slots are limited (most nationals bring their own support) or reserved for bands that they feel are working hard in Burlington and have developed a following.
