The Moroccan Lounge
The 250-person-capacity music room and lounge houses "unimpeded sight lines, exceptional acoustics, and a state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems" (translation: the ears of fans and performers will be equally delighted). On the menu, expect Moroccan-flavored offerings like falafel bites, poutine, quinoa and couscous salads, tzatziki lamb burgers, and vegan barbecue jackfruit sandwiches, to name a few.
The cool club comes from influential club creator Michael Swier, whose first LA venture was the Teragram Ballroom, which opened in 2015. Swier brought New York the Mercury Lounge and Bowery Ballroom — and if the Moroccan's playlist isn't already an indication, the venue will give indie music lovers yet another audiophile-friendly stage to catch rising acts.
