The Secret Group

The Secret Group, located at 2101 Polk St. in Houston, Texas, is a unique venue that caters to both music and comedy. It was founded by four local stand-up comedians and continues to host both local and nationally touring comedy and music acts. The venue is open daily from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., and it offers a variety of events, including live trivia nights, comedy shows, and concerts.

The venue has a speakeasy-like atmosphere with dark walls, intimate tables and chairs, and a sectioned stage area. It also features a bar with a solid wine selection, 18 beers on tap, and cold brew nitrogenated coffee. While it doesn't offer a food menu, food trucks are usually parked outside. The Secret Group is also available for booking and hosts a variety of other events.

Over the years, The Secret Group has hosted a variety of artists and bands. For instance, The Ocean, a well-known band, has performed at the venue. The venue has also hosted comedy acts like Raanan Hershberg, known for his appearances on The Tonight Show and Comedy Central.
