Warehouse Live (Studio)
Warehouse Live (Studio) is a versatile music venue located in Houston, Texas. It was converted from a warehouse built in the 1920s and opened its doors to the public on February 15, 2006. The venue is known for its industrial-meets-chic aesthetic, featuring exposed ceilings and pillars that remind visitors of its industrial heritage.
The Studio at Warehouse Live is a flexible space that can host up to 400 guests for standing room events or up to 200 guests for seated occasions. It is equipped with a range of amenities including air conditioning, a state-of-the-art sound system, a stage, and its own restrooms, bar, and flat screen LCD TVs.
The venue has hosted a variety of concerts and events over the years. Some of the notable artists and bands that have performed at the venue include Carver Commodore, Brother Moses, Heights, The Legendary Pink Dots, Melvins, Redd Kross, Toshi Kasai, Black Pistol Fire, The Aces, Sawyer, The Beaches, and many more.
In addition to its rich history of hosting concerts, Warehouse Live has also been recognized for its contributions to the music scene. It was awarded Houston's "Best Musical Venue" in 2008 by Citysearch.
However, it's important to note that Warehouse Live is relocating to Houston's Midtown neighborhood and will be rebranded as Warehouse Live Midtown, with its final EaDo show scheduled for December 3, 2023. The new location will undergo extensive renovations and upgrades, and will feature 15,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor space.
